Winter News!

This year we decided to take a much needed break at the start of the winter to recharge the batteries after a busy summer season.  Once again thank you to all those who stayed at Alpine Park Cottage during 2022 our first "normal" season post pandemic.

Decorating is well underway, as too is the spring cleaning. Every duvet, vallance, pillow, and mattress protector is washed. Carpets cleaned. Each year we have to do PAT testing on every electric appliance in each of the cottages, as well as the gas landlord safety checks and servicing of the fire extinguishers.  This is in between all the changeovers we do over the winter period and general maintenance.  

When we do have time to relax we continue to enjoy our walking, whether this is in Haldon Forest, on Woodbury Common, or Aylesbeare Common.  Whatever time of the year you visit them there is always something different to enjoy, that's the beauty of nature.
