Town Bands - Each Sunday throughout the Summer take a garden chair and listen to the Sidmouth Town Band at the Band Stand at Connaught Gardens. On Thursday 11th & 25th July and 8th & 22nd August listen to Ottery St Mary Silver Band play from 7.45 in Connaught Gardens.

Jurrassic Paddle Sport
Based on the beach at Sidmouth Jurassic Paddles provides kayaks and paddle boards (one big enough for 10 people!) Great fun for older children.

Sidmouth Air Display

Sidmouth Town Council has confirmed the line-up for the hugely popular Sidmouth Regatta Airshow which will return on Friday 25 August 2023 as part of the Regatta Weekend.

The 2023 Regatta Airshow will start around 5pm with a return to Sidmouth by Team Raven who wowed crowds last year, followed by an RAF Spitfire and Hurricane from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Visiting Sidmouth for the first time will be the Stampe Formation Display Team, and, performing their very first season ‘The Titans’.

Creating the usual finale to the Airshow for 2023 will be the RAF Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows who are sure to delight crowds with their perfectly synchronised flying and manoeuvrers. Sidmouth Regatta Airshow 2023 is shaping up to be highlight of the year and a fitting start to the Regatta Weekend of events details of which will be publicised shortly.

Sidmouth’s Airshow will take place on Friday 25 August from approximately 5.00pm off the seafront. In addition to the many usual Council car parks, extra parking will be provided and signed on the day and the usual water safety zone will be enforced to enable watercraft to view from a safe distance.
