Winter Lights Festival Sidmouth - This new event will be an inspiration of light sculptures, projections and lanterns based at the Sensory Garden and Riverside Walkway, the Ham and Sidmouth Wallspace, where the Byes, the River Sid and the sea meet.  Celebrating emerging from the dark of winter into the hopeful light of springtime with the theme of sustainability integrated, located in a place designed for sensory experience.  

The festival will open with a half-term weekend launch on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th February 2024 from 5.30pm - 8pm with local food, drink and bar to take the chill off located at the Fishermen's Yard, the Ham.

The festival will also Switch-On on Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, Saturday 17th February 2024 from 5.30pm - 8pm

Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival - Spring Festival 1st & 2nd March 2024

Craft 4 Crafters - This show is packed full of crafting displays, demonstrations, lectures, workshops, make & takes, and a large selection of fantastic retailers. Show takes place 4th, 5th & 6th April at Exeter Westpoint which is just 4 miles from Alpine Park Cottages.

Devon Country Show 2024 - The Devon County Show is one of the biggest events in the county calendar and is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day out sampling the many wonders of the local countryside. The Show takes places Thursday 16th, Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May 2024. 

Sidmouth Jazz and Blues Festival 2024 -  Returning by popular demand to Sidmouth is this music festival taking place with Sidmouth from Thursday 25th - Monday 29th May 2024. 

August 

Sidmouth Folk Festival 2024 - returning to Sidmouth for its 70th year!  The 2024 festival takes places from Friday 2nd - Friday 9th August. Sidmouth is just 6 miles from Sidmouth and on the 9/9a bus route.  Ideal place to stay to enjoy the Sidmouth Folk Festival.

Sidmouth Walking Festival - takes places from Saturday 14th - Friday 20th September 2024. Make the most of the beautiful surroundings with a selection of daily guided walks.

Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival - takes place in Budleigh Salterton from 18th - 22nd September 2024

Sidmouth Classic Car Show 2024 - Whether you are a car enthusiast, a motorcycle enthusiast or simply interested in a great family day out in the lovely Regency Town of Sidmouth, this event is a firm favourite in anyones diary.  This annual event takes place on Saturday 21st Septmber 2024 and is organised by the Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce.

Creative Craft Show 2024 -  This is the place to be for all very latest supplies, ideas, and innovations in the craft & hobby world so be sure to put the dates in your diary – it’s not one to be missed!  Taking place Thursday 26th, Friday 27th & Saturday 28th September 2024.

Sidmouth Science Festival -  Runs from 4th - 13th October 2024 - A week full of talks, by people eminent in their field follows - together with activities, walks and discussions.
